I’m too busy watching these amazing Tigers to write much so I’ll just share with you a few pictures from my mom’s spontaneous trip to the UP. I must have gotten the travel bug from her. Sandra has been to Scotland, multiple times to see my sister, Italy, Mexico, Bahamas, Jamaica & Canada. I’m sure I’m missing another country somewhere…? When I was in college, she took a year off from her job and traveled all over the western United States in an RV. This was one of her favorite times in her life. I would love to do that one day myself.​

Feel free to stop in this weekend without a reservation, we may be a bit quiet. Yom Kippur is observed on Friday evening and Saturday until sunset. As one of the holiest days in the Jewish religion, it is a day of atonement and repentance with prayer and fasting being two of the main components of the day. Many of my guests and extended family will be home Friday night with their families observing this day of reflection. For those of you observing, have an easy fast, we’ll see you soon. For everyone else, the parking lot which has been under construction has opened and we do have parking right out front again.
