Bistro Newsletter

As usual, the holidays are a whirlwind of activity around here. The Bistro was closed for 4 days but re-opened with a bang today. The weekend is looking steady, and we are quickly filling up reservations for Tuesday the 31st, New Years Eve. Reminder the Bistro will be closed on the 1st.

Michael and I celebrated Christmas Eve at my sister’s in Ann Arbor and Christmas day at my Mom’s house. Both evenings were relaxing for me, as I did not host. The food was delicious, games were fun and I’m always at my happiest when I am with my family. Brisket was spoiled by Santa, her Grammy and her Aunt Christine. My sister Karen celebrated Christmas back in Scotland, her evening was filled with lovely food, Joe’s family & music. We managed to video call each other to exchange our gifts “in person”. Thank God for today’s technology, it helps me miss my sister and her family just a “little” less. Michael is continuing to celebrate; he is having his dad over tonight for Hanukkah.
