We’ve hosted lots of wedding and baby showers here at the Bistro, but this past Sunday’s event was extra special. We hosted our manager Amanda’s baby shower. She’s adding a second little girl to her and Paco’s family, and we are excited to welcome yet another girl into the Bistro bunch! Alida had the first girl (Alexa) while working here, then Jessica had Alicia & Amanda had Lotus.

All the ladies on our staff attended and they all helped me get the food I had prepared out to the table on time. They set up glassware, chilled the bubbles and everyone pitched in to help with the clean-up. Amanda’s twin sister oversaw decorations and Isabele, Amanda’s sister-in-law, oversaw games. Jessica made a beautiful cake and Sue the Cookie Lady did our favors. It was a real treat to dress up, sip mimosas and relax with the ladies. Amanda was showered with gifts… she is so loved by all here… and everyone seemed to really enjoy themselves (minus me being forced to drink beer out of a baby bottle… Marilu captured quite the hilarious photo).

Congratulations and best wishes to Amanada and her little one, due to arrive in late September.
