An ode to my Valentine, my boo, my best friend, my baby doggy’s daddy, my forever partner and husband:

I crushed on you the first time I saw you at Emily’s Restaurant in Northville. I sorta maybe stalked you at your apartment, from the bushes, giggling with my girlfriend. I fell in love with you on the Pine River. You became my best friend, lover and confidant. We bought a house together and built a home with our sweet hounds. I married you in the most beautiful setting, in my favorite town with the bestest people surrounding us at the most iconic wedding ever. You became your own boss. We traveled and lived and laughed endlessly. We sat outside on our patio many summer nights under the stars sharing our dreams. I bought a restaurant; you believed in me. You make me laugh; you give me courage. You challenge me, you accept me, you forgive me, and you don’t ever quit on us.​
