Bistro Newsletter

​Due to be being closed on Sundays and Mondays, the Bistro instead will head back to its Irish roots this Friday & Saturday. We will be serving Corned Beef & Cabbage, Guinness Beef Stew and a few Irish themed seafood specials to choose from. The staff and I always start the day with an Irish Car Bomb toast to Tom Brady Sr. I know he would not approve of the name of the drink (I didn’t name it, don’t blame me) but I would like to think he is smiling down on us as we throw one back in his honor. Tom was kind, genuine, charming and most of all, always a gentleman. From what I understand, he was a hell of a bartender when he was a young man. I only knew Tom as the perfect host; accommodating, welcoming and always concerned that every guest was happy. He remembered names, anniversaries and birthdays and shook a lot of hands over the years. If you’d like to share, I’d love to hear a few good Tom Brady stories if you’re in this weekend. I have a few of my own to tell as well.
