Earlier this week I did my annual girls’ trip with The Pickled Hens. This year we decided to stay in Hocking Hills, Ohio. The eight of us headed out on Sunday towards our log cabin in the woods. The Hocking Hills State Park has over 25 miles of hiking trails, rock formations, waterfalls and recess caves. The area is beautiful and very family friendly. There are 7 main separate hiking areas. We hiked Rock House, Ash Cave, Old man’s Cave, Cedar Falls & Conkle’s Hollow. I’ll let the pictures do the talking as this place is pretty majestic, but pictures just don’t do it justice. Let’s just say between the hikes, the views, the beautiful accommodations, the many games, all the laughing and the swapped stories, the amazing meals we prepared and devoured and all the wine… I had a blast!


Get out and soak up mother nature… she truly is grand!
