I hope everyone had a stellar Thanksgiving!

Thank you to those of you who ordered the Thanksgiving sides to go! We made over 30 pounds of Traditional Bread Stuffing, Mashed Potatoes and Maple Smashed Sweet Potatoes each! Another 30 pounds of Veggie Rumble, almost 20 Qts. of Gravy, at least a gallon of Cranberry Relish & 5 Pumpkin Pies. After prepping in the kitchen with Max & crew on Wednesday, the last thing I wanted to have at my table was MORE stuffing! So, my menu this year was Garlicky Rack of Lamb, Spicy Vegetarian Squash Empanadas with Chimichurri, Burnt Lemon Feta Roasted Petite Potatoes & a Mezza Platter of Pumpkin Hummus, Labneh and Crudité. Of course, Michael still wants his turkey fix, so he will have to settle for me bringing home a plate of DJB’s Modern Turkey Meatloaf, Stuffing & Gravy.​

The truth is, it’s more important who is gathered around your table vs. what is served on your table.
